Position OverviewI am a State Farm Insurance Agent looking to hire an outgoing and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with the public. This is not a "corporate" stuffy environment. We have fun and have a "work hard, play hard mentality."Our office is in McLean, VA, within commuting distance from Fairfax, Falls Church and Arlington.This is an in-office position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs based review process to educate customers about insurance options. You will talk on the phone, text, email, and speak face to face, so if the thought makes you cringe, this job isn't for you.
  • While this is a sales-focused position, our conversations are NEEDS-BASED. We're not just talking to customers about products they do not need or overselling. We take the time to understand our customers individually, and based on those conversations, we find solutions that fit their needs and concerns. Everyone needs insurance, and it's not one size fits all.
